Wolrd Series '06

Cardinals are up 2 games to 1 !!!!
Kim got lucky and got a free ticket to tonight's game. Hopefully it doesn't get rained out. For a team that most of us thought wouldn't even make the playoffs in the final week of the season, they sure have turned it around and now have a legitimate shot at winning it all. I'll make her take the camera tonight and get some good pics up on here later in the week.

Game 1

Well todays game was awesome and the Cardinals looked like team we are used to seeing. They did great. Pujols stepped it up to start the cards off with a 2 run lead in the 4th inning. Carpenter did great as well as he only walked one batter and threw 76 strikes out of 105 pitches. They won 5-1 and now on to game two. Glad to see the Cardinals back in the grove.

Gamer Ground Updated

Made a major update to the Gamer Ground website. We now have an easier interface and about double the products that we had on the old site. Check it out. New products are being added daily.

Playoffs?

Well the Cardinals are suddenly doing terrible and have lost 6 in a row. The Astros are only 2 and a half games back of the division lead.

If we do somehow start playing better and make the playoffs we have tickets to home game 2 and 3 of the division series.

Gamer Ground

Well, Casey and I finally did it. We got our store up and running through the internet. The web address is www.GamerGround.com . We are also getting into some of the toy and comics shows between here and kansas city, mo.

Well things are going pretty well. I have started working out again I have gotten a routine of 20 minute cardio and 100 cruntches at least 4 times a week. Hopefully I will lose the rest of my 30 lbs by January 1, 2007. Instead of starting an new year with losing weight my goal is to start the new year of 07 to maintain the weight that I have lost this year. Well Casey and Bob (his dad) went to the baseball game tonight and they won 5-0. Carpenter had a one hitter. Casey's ankle is getting better which is good, for a while I wasn't sure how it was going to be. Well till next time.

I-70 Game

Well seems this weekend the Cardinals had a rough time beating the royals even with all the homeruns they had. But They knew what they had to do on Sunday because Casey and I were there so now they are 9 and 2 with us going to the games, actually not a back track record for us.

Tournament

Well we had a warmachine and hordes tournament on saturday and Casey did really well in the hordes tournament he got second place. I was really impressed and proud of him, and I won my first game in a tournament and did very well for only been playing for a month :)

Sad Day

Well today has been rough. Last night casey and I went to the emergency room because I wasn't feeling well. We then found out that we had a miscarriage.We are both doing okay. It's an emotional time for the two of us and it will take some time to get through. We believe that things happen for a reason and it just wasn't our time to add to our family. We also believe that things like this only happen to certain people who are strong enough to get through it. My saying comes true again. Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game. We will eventually try again and at that time we hope things will work out for the best.

Omaha

Well, we went to omaha this weekend to visit family and got to do something really cool. It just so happened that the Omaha Royals ( Kansas City minor league team) was playing the Memphis Redbirds ( St. Louis Cardinals minor league team) so we went to that and we got Skip Shumachers autograph which was cool. He looked surprised anyone actually new his name. Well that was the exciting thing and go figure the one time we didn't bring our camera out of town with us. :)

First Dr. Appt

Well my first doctor appointment was today. They calculated that I am 8 weeks and 2 days along which would put our due date January 1, 2007. We still have to wait for the blood work to confirm exactly how far along I am though. Never know maybe we will have the first new years baby and be on tv :)!

Road Trip

We're in KC for the weekend to watch the first place Cardinals take on the last place Royals.

Make that 6-1

We are now 6-1 since the Cards lost yesterday. We got free tickets in the third row.
Pujols already has 19 HRs. If he keeps this pace up he'll easily break Bonds single season home run record. After going to two games last week, we have two more games this week including Bank of America Club on Tuesday and a game in KC on Saturday.

We got free tickets to the game last night and Pujols came up big with a go-ahead homer in the 8th. Everyone in the stadium knew that if he hit it, it would be a homerun. Well everyone except the Rockies...

So far we have gone to six games and they've won every time we've gone.

Little bundle of Joy

Well incase you haven't heard Casey and I found out that we are going to be parents. We found out on April 27th. We are not sure how far along we are, we will find that out on monday and the due date we are not certain on yet. Trust me though we will keep everyone up to date as we are really excited.

Pampered Chef

Well Casey told me that I should find a hobby something to do in my spare time and I could never really find anything that I liked. Well now I found something that I think will be fun, get to meet new people and earn some money and free product. The other cool thing is anyone who would like to host a party I can do that and you can earn free product also. I am not doing this for people to feel obligated to through parties or order stuff, but anyone who has been to a pampered chef party knows that its usually a great girls night in and you get to try a new recipe and just have fun :) Again this is just something for me to do with my spare time. And for others to enjoy a night full of fun.

Cards games

We have tickets to 14 Cardinals games this year, including 5 this month.

The home opener is this Monday, and our first game is Wednesday. We have so many things already planned that we keep forgetting which days are free.

We also each have a poker tournament of champions this weekend at two different locations.

Well we played poker last monday and wednesday at brewskeez and I won both times, and we went again tonight and guess what.....

Weight Watchers

Well mom and I went back to weight watchers the middle of January and I have lost 14.8 lbs so far. Woo Hoo... on my way to being skinny :)

March Madness

Congratulations to KU for winning the Big 12 Tournament last night. They beat Texas in the championship game. Now they have a #4 seed in the Big Dance and take on Bradley Friday night at 8:30 central in Oakland.

They should be luckier this year and win on St. Pat's day.

Test Results

Well I didn't pass my test. So it's back to studying again. This time I am going to go to KC, MO to a class that might help me more. I will post again once I have passed the test :)

BIG TEST!!

Well i take my big insurance test for my new job that I started at State Farm tomorrow at 2:30. I ned to pass this with a 70% or higher in order for me not to have to take it again and this will be able for me to stop studying at work for 8 hours a day. I think I am really ready, but I need all the luck I can get. So keep me in mind. I will post again letting you all know how i did. Oh and I start a self defense class tonight so I will get to get all of my stress out of my system before my test :)

Baseball Season

Well, baseball season is just a few months away, and Busch Stadium JR is 80% complete. Casey and I are going to 10 games woo hoo. Can't wait. The Cardinals play the Royals in KC, MO May 19th to the 21st, if anyone is interested in going we are going to purchase tickets on March 11 for a little road trip. Please let us know by March 10 and we will get tickets for anyone who would like to go with us. They are so much cheaper in KC,MO.

New Tool Album name released

The artwork for the upcoming Tool album is going to the separators/printers today, therefore it will eventually be leaked out that the name of the album is (drum roll.......) ' 10,000 days '

Kimberly Miller wins Best Actress

Here's Kim accepting the Academy Award for Best Actress. Not really, but yes that's a real Oscar that she's holding. The 2006 Oscars are next week in Hollywood at the Kodak Theater. We were able to see all the actual Oscars that will be presented this weekend.

Well we finally decided to change the website so I figured I should add a blog. This way we can add updates easily and a lot more often. Also our guestbook was getting spammed up with robots, so that will be deleted. You can still hit the comment link under any post to leave your thoughts.
